Through Executive Decree No. 109 of October 2022, the Government of Panama extended for 24 months the minimum amount of US$300,000.00 of real estate investment to qualify for the Permanent Resident visa as a Qualified Investor.
Consequently, until October 2024, the investment for real estate investment reasons, directly or through a promise of sale contract, may be for the sum of US$300,000.00. The property must be free of encumbrance.
